The Avengers movie was rumored to be put on hold as it was discovered that a copy of the script (supposedly belonging to Samuel Jackson) was stolen and that the buyer was attempting to sell it to other parties. This rumor turned out to be false, but there are still rumors of rewrites of particular sections
Brian Michael Bendis to write the Marvel MMO, which will be free to play. http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=32112
Marvel announced that its upcoming MMO, which has been in development for a year, will be written by Brian Michael Bendis. Additionally, they stunned the press by mentioning that the game has been designed from the ground up to be free-to-play, and that players will play existing Marvel characters as opposed to making their own. Players will act as these characters as they go throughout the events in Marvel’s history.
Jonathan Hickman to write “Ultimate Comics: Ultimates” http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=32136
Hickman, along with artist Esad Ribic will debut a new Ultimates series starting in August. The series will be an ongoing series designed to help the “Ultimate Comics Universe Reborn” banner that several yet-to-be named titles will ship under. This will follow the “Death of Spider-Man” and “Ultimate Comics: Fallout” events and will show the part that the Ultimates play after the death Spider-Man and in a world where America needs superheroes to fill in gaps left by the military.
